Carlos Tevez headed back to West Ham.

All my own work02 - Aug - 2012

The Carlos Tevez love affair with Manchester City and Roberto Mancini has been a rough and rocky one.

And now it looks like he may be headed back from the club that really brought him to the fore in all things English football before he travelled the Manchester United, Manchester City route - West Ham - less than a year after the Argentinian was linked with teams all over Europe and transfer deals worth millions of pounds in transfer fees an weekly salaries to rival the best players in the footballing world.

And the man to bring Carlos back to his senses, to shock him and rock his world, to be the one behind this possible move, albeit unwittingly and with no ill intent is the so-called man of the moment Roberto would bend over backwards to bring to the club - Robin Van Persie.

According to the latest reports out of the MEN - Manchester Evening News, Van Persie is all but set for a move to Juventus in Italy despite being a so-called 'done deal' for either City or United.

But in the past few hours, with City apparently so desperate to bring the former Gunner north from the Emirates to the Etihad, the boss and board are apparently more than willing to part ways with the man whose return following a mid-season spat over whether or not he would appear against Bayern Munich in a Euro-game, has come to a head - without the Argentine knowing anything about it.

Few would deny Carlos Tevez was one of the main factors in the club winning the Premier League last season even with his extended absence but to treat him like this, as a pawn in the greater realm of things might just be taking things a bit too far on the part of Mancini - something that may come back to bite him in the rear end a month , six, twelve from now when the team are on the lookout for new stars, and expecting the current crop to stay loyal!
