Dzagoev wants to leave

Joel Amorim31 - Jul - 2012

The new Russian Tsar is one of the most wanted players these days. After some good displays for the Russian National Team at Euro 2012, everyone seems to want to buy this young lad.

According to some sports international media, Tottenham are willing to pay £12 million to CSKA Moscow to bring the player to London. Alan Dzagoev seems to be one of André Villas-Boas’ favourites and the Portuguese manager will probably want to add him to bring some creativity to the team.

Dzagoev is quite a talent, he is definitely not a run-of-the-mill sort of player, as some football pundits claim. For those who still don’t know him quite well, this 22-year old Russian player has tremendous football skills. He combines great technique, pinpoint passing and accurate long shots with above-average intelligence on the pitch.

In my honest opinion, Dzagoev is one of the best attacking midfielders playing European football these days. He not only has unique skills, he is also a very humble player and a very work oriented person. I honestly believe that he is a must-have player for every top European team.

The only problem with Dzagoev is that his club doesn’t seem to be interested in selling the player. One member of the club’s board claimed that Alan is not for sale at the moment. However, CSKA might be interested to hear some decent proposals from other clubs. Sports media claim that the Russian side wants at least £20 million to release the player.

Last week, the gifted midfielder claimed that he wants to play for a top European league, and that he wants to increase his football skills playing elsewhere other than the Russian League.

Still according to the international sports media, Dzagoev was on the shortlist of several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham. But from what we see now, the Russian player’s transfer seems nearer to the Spurs than any other club and I am pretty sure that AVB will make good use of him.

Tell me what you think about Alan Dzagoev? Is he good enough for Tottenham?
