Personally I was happy with a nil-nil draw against Sunderland because they've become a bogey team for us. Overall it was a good performance, defence needs tweaking but good performance for a totally new team, especially by new boy Santi Cazorla and Diaby and Gervinho, they're like new signings.

The defence was ok, as I said, needs tweaking, Jenkinson needs a lot more experience, the boy has talent but isn't Premier League standard at the moment, there's a lot of pressure on him. Mertesacker had a good game with Vermaelen and Gibbs was very good. They kept a clean sheet which is promising but I would like to see Koscielny play more games than Per. We do need to get rid of the likes of Djourou and Squillaci and replace them with two experiences, quick, tall CB's. A new right-back is needed too, van der Wiel, come Arsenal, Wenger, listen to me. Szczesny was great again, he always is though so there's no worries in goal, Wojciech 'Safe Hands' Szczesny.

I thought new strikers Podolski and Giroud looked sharp and have adapted to the Prem nicely. Lukas linked up with Gervinho and Cazorla nicely and I can see him smashing in some goals soon. Giroud was very lively when he came on, he should have scored that goal. I found it annoying that people are saying 'van Persie would have scored that goal'... no, he would not have. The guy is left footed and we saw many times, him missing shots with his right foot like that. I can see Giroud scoring goals too and a lot of headed goals.

Santi Cazorla, wow, what a signing he has proven to be. His movement was simply amazing and his link up play was top-notch. He's shooting isn't that bad either, came close to scoring a few times and kept the pressure on the Sunderland goalkeeper. He will be very important to us for the season, we have finally found our Fabregas replacement, finally.

I'm so glad Diaby is fit again because he is fantastic. He can read the game brilliantly and he has a great pass. He is like a new signing for us. Gervinho is also like a new signing. He is full of confidence and making loads of successful dribbles. He does need to work on his shooting and picking the right pass but apart from that, he is brilliant.

Alex Song has moved to Barcelona for £16m but don't be annoyed with him, it was due to his agent, Alex wanted to stay at Arsenal but his agent basically forced the transfer. I hope Alex does well at Barcelona alongside Fabregas.

I see a lot of people say things about Jenkinson which I think is really unfair because he is young and needs our support to achieve his best.
